EDD Debit Card MIA - Haven't Received It Yet. Help!
Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with my EDD debit card. It's been a while and I still haven't received it in the mail. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice on what I should do next? I've tried calling but keep getting disconnected.

Ugh, I feel your pain. The EDD system is such a mess rn. Have you checked your online account for any updates? Sometimes they post notices there about card issues.

•Thanks for the suggestion. I'll take a look at my account and see if there's anything new. Fingers crossed 🤞

•Good idea! I had a similar issue last year and found out through my online account that they had the wrong address on file. Def worth checking!

I've been dealing with this exact problem for weeks now. its so frustrating! Have you tried contacting Bank of America directly? They handle the EDD debit cards and might be able to give you more info.

Pro tip: I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/Ize0EkN4HDI

•Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit? Has anyone else tried it?

•Yep, 100% legit. I was skeptical at first too, but it saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo.

•$20 just to talk to someone? That's ridiculous. The system is so broken 🤦♂️

•I get it, but when you've been trying for weeks and your benefits are on the line, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do 🤷♀️

Here's what you need to do: 1. Check your online account for any messages or status updates 2. Call Bank of America EDD card services at 1-866-692-9374 3. If that doesn't work, try contacting your local assembly member's office. They often have direct lines to EDD 4. Keep a record of all your attempts to contact EDD (dates, times, who you spoke to) 5. If you're really desperate, consider using a paid service like Claimyr to get through to an agent Remember, persistence is key. Don't give up! The system is overwhelmed, but you'll get your card eventually.

•This is great advice. I'd add that sometimes tweeting at EDD can get their attention too. Worth a shot!

Quick question - did you recently move? Sometimes address changes can cause delays. Make sure your address is up to date in the system!

I had this issue last year. Turns out my card was stolen from my mailbox. You might want to check if it was actually sent and possibly intercepted. If so, you'll need to report it to BoA and EDD asap.
