Does anyone know how to get my Bank of America account unblocked? They have been harassing me for over a year now. I got my account unblocked 3 months ago. The first transaction I tried to make they closed it. I called edd. My account had been disqualified and I was told to file an appeal. I filed an appeal. I won the appeal. I called the bank. They unblocked my card and the 26 weeks missing were added to my account. The first transaction I made, they closed the account. I called the bank and got my card unblocked again. I was finally able to withdraw $1000 from the ATM. I ordered postmates, the card worked. I tried ordering food later that day, the card was declined. I called the bank again and they want me to go to a bank with 2 forms of ids. Banks are closing everyday because people are getting sick. I’m  an old lady, if I catch COVID I’ll die. Does anyone know how to get the card unblocked or who to contact and complain about this harassment from the bank for the past year?

I did talk to a supervisor the thing is that in the past 3 days I got the card unblocked 3 times and today they didn’t even try to authenticate me they asked for my phone number and my name not my ssn not my address not my dob and that was a regular representative not even the risk department, and after giving her my name and phone number she tells me to go to the bank with 2 forms of Id. Must be someone to complain to or a department above them that can help. Also by law they can’t just freeze ur money like that without no reason if they don’t want to work with me that’s them right but in this case they need to close my account and issue me a check with the remaining balance

I’m sorry to hear your cousin and Bank of America troubles however, like she said, bank needs to verify you in person with your identification. They will match your photo ID and you. I’ve heard many complain about going to bank but that’s what they require. If you’re feeling a bit sick or if you’re explaining your family member, then maybe there’s a chance to get helped. I’ve heard sometimes boa Edd requires to contact a sponsorship which is Edd to unblock. Edd may give you a passcode to authorize. Some claimant spoke with tier 2 and received it and called back with boa edd. Also you can try assembly member help you out. I contacted and they resubmitted my identification behalf of me to edd when I had an identity issue. And u r saying that it’s not a guess that claimants got such passcode In the past and got access to their benefits ?

You’re so welcome. I know how much it is frustrating. One day when Edd only gave me difficult time, I also thought of appeal but I hesitated a long period of appeal. I’m giving you an option but until you speak with them, I’m not guaranteeing 100% if tier 2 resolves for you.  What I know is that when Edd boa blocks, there are two reasons. One is Edd boa blocks on their own, the other is Edd blocks so boa Edd follows.  Edd often provides a passcode to unlock with boa Edd. why not try before appeal decision? I would do any possible options and work through. Since it is for identity issue holding, local assembly member also would be helpful if you explain your difficult time.

Called both , keep saying I’m just waiting on everything to clear up . . That’s why I was inquiring about the timeline

To avoid this, I just asked for a paper check to be mailed. Its the only other option.
