If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Ugh, I feel for you. I'm pregnant and terrified of going through this when it's time for my maternity leave. The system is so broken. Sending you good vibes and hope you get it sorted soon! ❤️

Thank you! And congrats on your pregnancy. I hope it goes smoother for you!

I heard they're super backlogged bc of all the fraud cases they're dealing with. Might be why it's taking so long for legit claims too.

0 coins

Great, so we're all suffering bc some scammers had to ruin it for everyone. Typical. 🙄

Yo, has anyone tried showing up in person at an EDD office? I'm bout ready to camp out if that's what it takes to get answers.

0 coins

I tried that last month. They just told me to go home and wait. Total waste of time.

Some offices are appointment only now. Check their website before you go!

Quick question - does anyone know if mental health conditions are treated differently in the application process? Asking for a friend...

0 coins

They can be trickier to prove, but they're definitely valid reasons for disability. Make sure you have thorough documentation from a psychiatrist or therapist.

I got approved for PTSD, so it's definitely possible. Just be prepared for a potentially longer process and maybe consider getting a lawyer to help.

DONT FORGET TO APPEAL IF YOU GET DENIED! A lot of people give up after the first rejection, but many cases get approved on appeal. Keep fighting!

0 coins

Oh wow, I didn't know that. How long does the appeal process usually take?

0 coins

It can take a few months, sometimes up to a year. But it's worth it if you really need the benefits. Just make sure you file the appeal within 60 days of your denial!

I wonder if this is related to that big fraud case from last year? Maybe they're doing some kind of audit?

0 coins

That's actually a good point. I remember reading something about EDD cracking down after all that fraud. Still doesn't excuse not notifying people though.

Pro tip: If you do manage to get through to someone, ask for a tier 2 specialist right away. The first-level reps often don't have the authority to do much.

have u tried going karen on them? sometimes u gotta be the squeaky wheel to get the grease 🤷‍♀️ ask for supervisors, threaten to go to the media, make a scene (politely) at the bank. it sucks but sometimes it works

0 coins

Lol, I'm usually not the 'make a scene' type, but at this point I'm getting desperate enough to try anything. Might have to channel my inner Karen 😂

do it!!! just remember to be polite but firm. good luck! 🍀

This is why we need a complete overhaul of the unemployment system. It's a joke that people have to jump through so many hoops just to get the benefits they're entitled to. Sorry you're dealing with this, OP.

Preach! 🙌 The whole system is designed to be as difficult and discouraging as possible. It's like they want people to give up.

Totally agree. We need to vote for politicians who will actually fix this mess instead of just talking about it.
