Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. have u checked ur claim status online? sometimes there holding payments cuz they need more info but dont bother telling u 🙄
I did check online, but everything looks normal there. No pending issues or requests for info that I can see. It's so confusing!

The EDD is a joke 🤡 I've been dealing with them for months and still can't get my issues resolved. Good luck, OP. You're gonna need it.

Here's a detailed breakdown of what you should do: 1. Check your UI Online account for any pending tasks or messages. 2. Make sure all your certifications are up to date. 3. Verify your identity if you haven't already (they're being extra strict about this lately). 4. Try contacting them through UI Online - sometimes they respond faster this way. 5. If calling, use this script: 'Hello, I noticed my last payment was over a month ago, and I haven't received any payments since. Could you please check if there are any issues or delays with my account? I've made sure all my certifications are up to date.' 6. If all else fails, contact your local assembly member or state senator. They can sometimes expedite EDD issues. Hope this helps! Hang in there, we're all in this together. 💪
