Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. The EDD is a joke 🤡 I've been dealing with them for months and still can't get my issues resolved. Good luck, OP. You're gonna need it.

LPT: If you're having trouble getting your disability payments, try contacting your state senator or assembly member's office. They often have staff dedicated to helping constituents with state agency issues. It's literally their job to help you!

Guys, I hate to be that person, but have you checked your spam folder? I found out my EDD emails were going there and I missed some important info. Just throwing it out there!

Here's a detailed breakdown of what you should do: 1. Check your UI Online account for any pending tasks or messages. 2. Make sure all your certifications are up to date. 3. Verify your identity if you haven't already (they're being extra strict about this lately). 4. Try contacting them through UI Online - sometimes they respond faster this way. 5. If calling, use this script: 'Hello, I noticed my last payment was over a month ago, and I haven't received any payments since. Could you please check if there are any issues or delays with my account? I've made sure all my certifications are up to date.' 6. If all else fails, contact your local assembly member or state senator. They can sometimes expedite EDD issues. Hope this helps! Hang in there, we're all in this together. 💪
