If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

UPDATE: The money just hit my card this morning (Wednesday)! So that was about 48 hours from when it showed paid on the EDD site. Thanks everyone for the help and calming my nerves. I'm definitely switching to direct deposit for future payments based on all your advice.

Great news! That's actually pretty standard timing for a first payment. Future payments should be a bit quicker once the system recognizes you as an established claimant.

yay!! so glad it came through in time for your rent!

I have edd money network card. My disability is using on my card Sunday night. It’s not there, Memorial Day is tomorrow. Could that be a possibility?

0 coins

Yes, Memorial Day could definitely be causing the delay! Bank holidays always slow down ACH transfers and deposit processing. Even though your disability payment was initiated Sunday night, Money Network probably won't process it until Tuesday since Monday is a federal holiday. Holiday weekends can add an extra 1-2 business days to the normal timeline. You should see it by Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest.

UPDATE: Wanted to let everyone know Money Network actually came through faster than expected! They issued a provisional credit after 4 business days, and today (day 6) they confirmed the fraud investigation is complete and the money is permanently restored. I think what helped was: 1) Filing the police report immediately, 2) Following up daily but politely, 3) Specifically mentioning hardship and requesting provisional credit as someone suggested here, and 4) I finally reached EDD using the Claimyr service someone recommended, and they put notes on my account. Also, I've already set up direct deposit to my regular bank account for all future payments. Never using that Money Network card again! Thanks everyone for your help during this stressful time.

That's great news! Glad it worked out faster than expected. Smart move switching to direct deposit - much safer overall.

Thanks for updating us! It's always helpful to hear positive resolution stories. Direct deposit is definitely the way to go for security reasons.

So glad to hear you got your money back quickly! This whole thread has been super helpful - I've been using the Money Network card for months without realizing how vulnerable it is. Just set up direct deposit and text alerts after reading everyone's experiences. It's crazy how common this fraud seems to be with these cards. Thanks for sharing your story and keeping us updated!

One more thing I forgot to mention - the hearing process itself is actually pretty straightforward once you finally get a date. The Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) will review your case first, then ask questions about your specific situation. They're generally fair and will listen to your explanation about the miscalculated earnings. Make sure you can clearly explain: 1. Why you believe the calculation is wrong 2. What evidence you have to prove your actual earnings 3. How you reported your income during certifications The hearings typically last 30-45 minutes. You'll receive the judge's decision by mail within 2-3 weeks after the hearing. Hang in there - the waiting is definitely the hardest part of the whole process.

This is really helpful to know what to expect. I've been stressing about the hearing itself. Sounds less intimidating than I imagined. I can definitely explain the calculation error - they counted the same earnings twice for two different weeks. I have pay stubs showing exactly when I was paid and for which work periods.

I'm going through something similar right now - been waiting since January for my appeal hearing date on a $4,200 overpayment. The stress is real! Reading through all these responses is actually making me feel better knowing I'm not alone in this nightmare. One thing that helped me cope with the waiting is setting up a separate savings account specifically for this potential debt. Even if I can only put $50-100 a month in there, it makes me feel like I'm doing something proactive instead of just panicking. If I win the appeal, great - I have extra savings. If I lose, at least I have something to work with. Also, document EVERYTHING during this process - every phone call, every letter, every attempt to contact them. If this drags on much longer, you might need that paper trail. The whole system is designed to be overwhelming, but you've got this! Your evidence sounds solid with the pay stubs showing the double-counting error.

Is it just me, or does anyone else miss the good old days when we could actually walk into an office and talk to a real person? #bringbackhumaninteraction

Preach! 🙌 I'd give my left shoe for a face-to-face convo with an EDD rep right about now.

I'm going through the exact same thing! 4 weeks certified, documents sent, and radio silence from EDD. What's really frustrating is that there's no clear timeline or status updates. I've been checking my UI Online account obsessively but it just shows "pending" with no explanation. The worst part is not knowing if it's a system glitch, missing paperwork, or just the usual EDD backlog. Hang in there - at least we know we're not alone in this nightmare! 😤

Hey OP, what state are you in? The process can vary a lot depending on location.

I'm in California. Dealing with the EDD has been a nightmare so far.

Oof, California EDD is notoriously bad. Buckle up, you're in for a wild ride. 🎢

I went through the exact same thing with CA EDD last year. My denial was also for "insufficient earnings" even though I had worked consistently. Here's what worked for me: 1) Request your wage records from EDD to see what they have on file - sometimes employers don't report correctly, 2) Get copies of all your pay stubs and tax documents, 3) File the appeal online through your EDD portal within 30 days, and 4) In your appeal letter, be very specific about your work history and attach all proof. The hearing was done over the phone and took about 45 minutes. The judge was actually pretty fair and I won my case. Don't let them intimidate you - you have rights!
