PFL application not showing on EDD website after submission - possible glitch?

Hey everyone, I'm having some trouble with my PFL application. I submitted two applications and now I need to delete one of them. The first call I made wasn't great, but the second one was a bit better. Even though I got a receipt number for my application, it's not showing up on the website under pending family leave claim applications. Has anyone else experienced this? It seems like there might be a glitch in the system.

Pro tip: call right when they open. I usually have better luck getting through that way. Good luck! šŸ€

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone! I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

Have you checked your spam folder for any emails from EDD? Sometimes their messages end up there. Also, it can take a few days for the application to show up in the system.

Ive been dealing with EDD for months now and let me tell you, its a total 🤔 show. Heres what I've learned: • Always save your confirmation numbers and take screenshots • Follow up with phone calls, even if it's a pain • Check your online account daily for updates • If you can, submit everything online AND by mail • Be prepared to explain your situation multiple times Hang in there, OP. It's a process, but you'll get through it!

I'm in the same boat, matey. 🚢 The EDD website is more buggy than a roach motel. Have you tried using a different browser? Sometimes that works for me when things aren't showing up correctly.

Okay, so heres the deal with deleting PFL applications. You actually CANT delete them yourself once theyre submitted. You need to call and speak to a rep to have them remove the duplicate. Its a pain, but thats the only way to fix it. Source: I work in HR and deal with this stuff all the time.

Hey OP, just a heads up - I had a similar issue last year and it turned out there was a system-wide update happening. It took about a week for everything to show up correctly. Might be worth waiting a few days before you panic. Good luck!

Oh no, this is so frustrating! 😤 I'm actually going through the exact same thing right now - submitted my PFL application last week and it's nowhere to be found on the website even though I have the confirmation number.
