Has anyone tried contacting the media about these ongoing issues? Maybe if there was more public pressure, they'd finally fix their broken system.
Quick question - when you say 'super users', do you mean like IT people or just higher-level reps? Trying to figure out who exactly I should be asking for when I call.
From what I understand, they're specialized reps with more system access. But tbh, I'm not 100% sure. The regular reps just keep saying they don't have the 'tools' to fix it. 🤷♂️
am i the only 1 who thinks its crazy we gotta jump through all these hoops just to get our benefits? the whole system needs an overhaul smh
Has anyone had any luck with the callback feature on their website? I requested one last week but still haven't heard anything back.
anyone else notice how the wait times seem to get longer every year? its like they're purposely understaffed or something smh
Pro tip: if u cant get thru on the main line, try calling one of the foreign language lines and ask to be transfered to an english speaking agent. sometimes works!

Here's what worked for me after months of waiting: 1. Document everything. Keep a log of all your calls, emails, and online account updates. 2. Be persistent. Call every week if you have to. 3. Use the magic words "financial hardship" when you talk to them. It can sometimes get your claim flagged for expedited processing. 4. If all else fails, contact your state representative or senator. They often have staff dedicated to helping with these issues. 5. Consider filing a formal complaint with the department if it's been an unreasonable amount of time. Hang in there, OP. The system sucks, but don't give up!

•Wow, thank you so much for this detailed advice! I'll definitely try the "financial hardship" angle. Really appreciate you taking the time to write all this out.

Have you tried faxing your documents? I know it sounds ridiculous in 2023, but I swear it got my claim moving when nothing else worked.
