PFL Claim Status Confusion: Next in Line Text But No Call, Will It Resume Monday?

Hey everyone, I'm having an issue with my PFL claim. I got a text saying I was next in line, but then never received a call. Then I got another text saying they closed, but my order is still active. Does anyone know if calls will resume on Monday? I'm kinda confused about what's going on with my claim status and payment details.

Anyone else feel like they're playing a game of chance with these calls? It's like PFL roulette - will I get through today or nah? ๐ŸŽฐ

LOL more like PFL lottery. Odds of winning seem about the same ๐Ÿ˜‚

I've been dealing with PFL for 3 months now and still havent gotten my first payment. This system is broken af

3 months?! That's insane. Have you tried contacting your local representative? Sometimes they can help speed things up.

No, I haven't. Didn't even know that was an option. I'll give it a shot, thanks!

EDD Business Days: When to Expect Callback?

Hey everyone, I'm trying to figure out the business days for EDD. Does anyone know if they count weekends or holidays? I'm waiting on a call back and I'm not sure when to expect it.

Has anyone tried reaching out to their local representative? I've heard that can sometimes help speed things up.

I did this! It actually helped a lot. My case got resolved within a week after months of nothing.

Which representative did you contact? I'm desperate for any help at this point.

FYI, there's been some changes to the EDD system recently. They're supposedly streamlining the process, but who knows if it'll actually help ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

Pending payment stuck - haven't received money yet. Help!

Hey everyone, I'm having an issue with a pending payment. It's been a while and I still haven't received my money. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice on what I should do or who I should contact? I'm getting pretty worried about it.

This happened to me last month. Turns out there was a system-wide glitch affecting a bunch of accounts. Might be worth asking if theres any known issues going on.

PFL claim pending for 2+ months, way past the 2-3 week estimate. Need $ for bills. Any way to speed it up?

My PFL claim has been pending for over 2 months now! They told me it would only take 2-3 weeks to process. I'm getting really frustrated because I need this money to pay my bills. Has anyone else experienced such long delays? Any advice on how to speed up the process?

Have you checked your spam folder? Sometimes important emails from EDD end up there. Also, make sure your contact info is up to date in their system.

Unpopular opinion: maybe we should all show up at the EDD office and protest. Might get some media attention and force them to address the delays. Who's with me? โœŠ

Idk man, seems like a waste of time. They don't care about us little people. ๐Ÿ˜’

That's exactly why we need to make ourselves heard! If we don't speak up, nothing will change.

How to claim PFL for previous years? Need advice ASAP!

Hey everyone, I'm trying to claim paid family leave for previous years. Has anyone else dealt with this? I just realized I might be eligible for some benefits from the past and I'm not sure how to go about it. Any advice would be really appreciated!

Pro tip: if you can, hire a lawyer who specializes in employment law. Yes, it costs money upfront, but they can often get you way more than youd get on your own. Worth it if were talking about multiple years of benefits.

This! ๐Ÿ’ฏ A good lawyer can make all the difference.

OP, whatever you do, don't give up! I fought for almost a year to get my past benefits, but it was worth it in the end. Stay strong! ๐Ÿ’ช
