Stuck on hold for 30+ mins checking claim eligibility - any tips to actually reach someone?
I've been trying to check the eligibility of my claim for hours now. Called the number and was on hold for over 30 minutes, but no one ever picked up. This is so frustrating! Has anyone else had this problem? Any tips on how to actually get through to a real person?

Welcome to the club, buddy. I've been dealing with this nonsense for weeks now. It's like they don't want us to get our benefits or something. π

β’Weeks? Try months! I swear, it's like they're purposely making it difficult. π€

β’I feel ya. It's like trying to catch a unicorn or something. Keep at it tho, you'll get through eventually!

Pro tip: try calling right when they open. I managed to get through after only 15 minutes on hold that way. Good luck!

I found a method that actually works to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video explaining it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

β’Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

β’20 bucks? That's kinda steep just to talk to someone...

β’I know it sounds sketchy, but I swear it worked for me. Saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo.

β’Yeah, I tried that first. The website kept giving me an error message. That's why I resorted to calling. π©

Ugh, I feel your pain. The whole system is a joke. I've been trying to get my claim sorted for months now. It's like they're playing games with our lives.

Here's what I've learned after dealing with this for way too long: β’ Call early in the morning, like right when they open β’ If you get a busy signal, hang up and immediately redial β’ Use multiple phones if you can to increase your chances β’ Be prepared with all your info before you call β’ If you get through, be super nice to the rep (even if you're frustrated) β’ Consider using one of those paid services if you're really desperate Hope this helps someone. We're all in this together, folks!

β’Great advice! I'd add: keep a log of all your calls and who you spoke to. It helps if you need to escalate later.

I've heard rumors they're updating their phone systems soon. Maybe that'll help? π€
