SDI website won't let me fill out partial disability time card - help!
Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with my partial disability time card. Every two weeks I need to fill out my work hours to get a partial check from state disability, but the system isn't letting me do it. Has anyone else run into this issue? Any advice on how to fix it or who to contact?

Ugh, I've been there. The EDD website can be such a pain sometimes. Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies? That sometimes helps with weird glitches.

•True, but it's worth a shot before spending hours on hold with them lol

I had a similar issue last month. Turns out there was a system update and they didn't notify anyone. Try calling the SDI office directly - they might have some insight.

Hey, I found a way to actually get someone on the phone without waiting for hours. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

•Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit?

•I was skeptical at first too, but I tried it and it actually worked. Saved me hours of frustration.

•20 bucks tho? Thats kinda steep just to talk to someone who should be available anyway 😒

•I get it, but for me, it was worth not having to sit by my phone all day. Time is money, ya know?

Have you tried submitting a paper form instead? Sometimes the old school method works when the online system is being finicky. You can download the form from the EDD website and mail it in.

This is why I hate dealing with government websites. They're always broken or outdated. Good luck, OP. You're gonna need it 😫

Okay, let me break this down for you. I've been on partial disability for a while now, so I've learned a few tricks: 1. First, try a different browser. Sometimes the EDD site doesn't play nice with certain browsers. 2. Make sure you're entering your hours in the correct format. It's usually HH:MM, and they're picky about it. 3. Double-check that your claim is still active. If it expired, you might need to file a new one. 4. If none of that works, call the SDI office first thing in the morning. Like, right when they open. You'll have a better chance of getting through. 5. If you still can't get through, consider using one of those paid services that wait on hold for you. It sucks to pay, but sometimes it's worth it to actually talk to a human. 6. As a last resort, go to your local EDD office in person. Bring all your paperwork and be prepared to wait. Hope this helps! Let us know how it goes.

I swear, dealing with EDD is like trying to sail through a hurricane. Always some new obstacle to overcome. Hang in there, OP!
