SDI payment issues - 3 weeks, no updates. Help!

Hey everyone, I'm having some issues with my State Disability payment. Has anyone else experienced problems or delays recently? I'm not sure what to do and could really use some advice.

Ugh, I feel ya. The SDI system is a total mess rn. What exactly is going on with ur payment? Did it not come through or is it less than expected?

Thanks for asking. It's been 3 weeks since I filed and I haven't received anything yet. No updates online either. I'm getting worried 😟

3 weeks?! That's rough. Have you tried calling them? I know its a pain, but sometimes thats the only way to get answers

I've been trying to call but can never get through. It's so frustrating! 😤

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

20 bucks? Idk man, seems kinda sketchy

I get the skepticism, but it seriously worked for me. Saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo

Can you give more details about how it works? Like how long did you wait?

Sure! I placed the order, and about 2 hours later I got a call. Picked up and was immediately talking to an SDI rep. Way better than spending all day redialing 🙌

Have you checked your claim status online? Sometimes there are updates there that can give you a clue about whats going on with your payment.

SDI is the worst! I've been dealing with payment issues for months. It's like they don't even care about us 😡

Preach! 🙌 The whole system needs an overhaul

Here's what I've learned from my experience with SDI payment issues: • First, double-check all your paperwork. Make sure everything is filled out correctly and completely. • If you haven't already, create an online account to check your claim status. Sometimes there are updates there that don't get communicated elsewhere. • Keep a log of all your attempts to contact them. Dates, times, who you spoke to if you get through. • If you have a disability, consider reaching out to a disability advocate. They sometimes have insider contacts. • Don't give up! It's frustrating, but persistence usually pays off. Hang in there, OP. I know it's tough, but you'll get through this!

I heard they just updated their system last month. Maybe that's causing delays? Anyone else notice longer wait times recently?

Oh great, another "upgrade" that probably made everything worse 🙄

Pro tip: call right when they open. I got through after only 30 mins on hold last week!

This might sound crazy, but have you tried reaching out on Twitter? I've seen some people get responses that way. Worth a shot! 🤷‍♂️
