Payment delay issue with benefits - need advice ASAP!
Hey everyone, I'm having a payment issue with my benefits. It's been delayed and I'm not sure what to do. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice on how to handle it or who to contact?

Ugh, I feel you. I've been dealing with payment delays for weeks now. It's so frustrating! Have you tried calling the benefits office? That's usually the first step, but good luck getting through 🙄

•Calling is a nightmare. I spent 3 hours on hold yesterday and still didn't get through. There has to be a better way!

•Pro tip: call right when they open. I got through in 15 minutes doing that last week.

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Check out this video for more info: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

•Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

•Is it really worth $20 tho? Seems kinda steep for just a phone call.

•I know it sounds sketchy, but I swear it worked for me. Saved me hours of frustration. And yeah, $20 is a lot, but I was desperate and it was worth it to finally get my issue resolved.

Have you checked your online account? Sometimes there's info there about payment delays or issues that need to be resolved. Might save you a phone call.

I've been in the same boat. turns out there was a glitch in there system that was causing delays for a bunch of people. They fixed it last week, so hopefully your payment will come through soon!

•Oh really? That's good to know. How long did it take for your payment to come through after they fixed the glitch?

•It took about 3 business days for me. Hang in there!

Here's what I've learned from dealing with benefit payment delays: 1. Document everything. Keep a log of when you were supposed to be paid and when you actually receive payments. 2. Check your online account daily for updates or messages. 3. If calling, try early morning or late afternoon - those tend to be less busy times. 4. Consider reaching out to your local representative's office. They can sometimes help push things along. 5. Be patient but persistent. The system is overwhelmed, but you have a right to your benefits. 6. Join local Facebook groups or forums. Sometimes you can get insider info on what's causing delays. 7. If you're in dire need, look into local charities or assistance programs that might be able to help in the meantime. Hope this helps! Hang in there, we're all in this together. 💪

•Great advice. I'd add: make sure all your info is up to date in the system. A friend's payments were delayed bc of an old address.

Have you tried reaching out on social media? Sometimes tweeting at them or messaging on Facebook can get a faster response than calling.
