SDI benefits not updating online after doctor increased amount - how long to wait?
Hey everyone, I'm having an issue with my SDI benefits. My doctor recently increased my SDI, but the online status hasn't updated to reflect this change. It's been a few days now and I'm getting worried. Has anyone else experienced this? How long does it usually take for the system to update after a doctor makes changes?

I found a way to solve SDI benefits update delay issues, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ojJZeytsKq4

Ugh, I feel your pain! The system can be so slow sometimes. When my doc updated my status, it took about a week for it to show up online. Hang in there!

ā¢A week? That's not too bad I guess. I'll try to be patient. Thanks for sharing your experience!

I've been through this before. Here's what you need to know: ⢠Online updates can take anywhere from 3 days to 3 weeks ⢠The delay doesn't affect your actual benefits, just what you see online ⢠If it's been more than 2 weeks, call them to check ⢠Make sure your doctor submitted the correct forms ⢠Keep a copy of any paperwork your doctor gives you as proof Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

ā¢This is great advice! šÆ I wish I had known all this when I first started dealing with SDI. The system can be so confusing.

Have you tried calling them? Sometimes talking to a real person can speed things up.

ā¢I've tried, but I can never get through. It's always busy or I'm on hold forever. š«

ā¢Pro tip: I found a way to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Check out this video: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Have you checked if there's any pending action items on your account? Sometimes they need additional info and don't tell you directly.

ā¢Oh, I didn't even think of that! I'll go check right now. Thanks for the tip!

Anybody else feel like we're all just stuck in this giant game of bureaucratic pinball? 𤔠One day you're up, next day you're tilted!

I'm going through the exact same thing right now! My doctor updated my SDI status about 10 days ago and it's still not showing online. I've been checking every day like it's going to magically appear. From what I'm reading here, it sounds like this is pretty normal unfortunately. The waiting game is the worst part - you never know if something went wrong or if it's just taking forever to process. Keep us posted on when yours updates!

ā¢I'm in the exact same boat! It's so frustrating not knowing if it's just slow processing or if something actually went wrong. I've been refreshing that page way too many times a day š It's reassuring to know I'm not the only one dealing with this. Definitely will keep everyone updated - fingers crossed we both see some movement soon!
