SDI Payment Delayed - 2 Days No Answer. Help!

I've been waiting for two days to get through to SDI about my payment. This is ridiculous! Anyone else having trouble reaching them? I'm so frustrated with the whole process.

Welcome to the club, buddy. I've been trying to get ahold of someone for over a week now. Its like they dont even want to help us 🤬

A week? That's nothing. I've been calling for a month straight. Starting to think they're all on permanent vacation 🏖️

Guys, have you tried calling early in the morning? I heard thats when the lines are less busy

Tried that already. No luck. Its like playing the lottery, except you never win 🎰

I feel your pain. The SDI system is completely overwhelmed right now. Here's what I've learned after weeks of trying: 1. Keep calling persistently. It's frustrating, but sometimes you get lucky. 2. Try different times of day. Early morning or late afternoon might have slightly better odds. 3. Have all your information ready when you call. Claim number, social security number, etc. 4. Be polite to the representatives when you do get through. They're swamped too. 5. Consider reaching out to your local state representative's office. They sometimes can help expedite things. 6. Check your online account regularly for updates. 7. Make sure all your paperwork is in order and submitted correctly. Hang in there. I know it's tough, but keep at it. The system is broken, but eventually, you'll get through.

This is really helpful, thanks for sharing! Do you know if theres a best day of the week to call?

In my experience, Tuesdays and Wednesdays seem to be slightly better. Mondays and Fridays are usually the worst. But it's still a bit of a crapshoot tbh

Thanks for the detailed advice. I'll definitely try reaching out to my state rep. Didn't even think of that!

Guys, I found a method that actually works to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Check out this video for more info: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

20 bucks? Idk man, seems kinda sketchy. How do we know its legit?

I get the skepticism, but I swear it worked for me. After weeks of trying, I was desperate enough to give it a shot. Got through in about 2 hours. Worth every penny imo

Just tried it and it actually worked! 🙌 Got through to an agent in about 3 hours. Beats days of calling myself

Am I the only one who thinks its absolutely insane that we have to jump through all these hoops just to get our own money? 🤔 The whole system needs an overhaul

Has anyone had luck with the online portal? I've been trying to update my claim there but keep getting error messages 😫

The online portal is a joke. Half the time it doesn't even load for me. #TechFail

I managed to update some info online, but anything important still requires calling in. Its like they're stuck in the 90s or something

Unpopular opinion: maybe if we all stopped calling constantly, the lines wouldn't be so jammed and they could actually process our claims faster 🤷‍♂️

Lol good luck convincing people to do that when their livelihoods are on the line 🙄

Nice try, SDI employee 😂

I'm serious tho! Think about it - if everyone chilled for a week, maybe they could catch up?

Anyone else feel like were playing a twisted game of phone tag with the government? 📞🏓 Tag, you're it SDI... oh wait, you never call back 🙃
