Can't get through to SDI for last payment - Help!

Hey everyone, I'm having trouble getting my last SDI payment. I've been trying to reach someone at the office but can't get through. Has anyone else experienced this? Any tips on how to actually talk to a human there?

Ugh, I feel your pain. I've been trying to get through for weeks now. It's like they don't want us to actually get our money šŸ™„

Have you guys tried emailing? I heard sometimes that works better than calling

Yeah, I tried emailing but got an auto-reply saying they're backlogged. Feels like were just shouting into the void šŸ˜©

I actually found a way to get through! There's this service called Claimyr (claimyr.com) that calls for you, waits on hold, and then connects you when a real person picks up. It costs $20 but it worked for me. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

I get the skepticism, but it seriously worked for me. Saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo

Here's what I've learned from dealing with SDI for the past few months: ā€¢ Call right when they open at 8:00 AM ā€¢ If you get a busy signal, hang up and immediately redial ā€¢ Keep trying for at least an hour ā€¢ Use multiple phones if possible ā€¢ Be prepared with all your info (claim number, SSN, etc.) ā€¢ If you do get through, ask for a direct number or extension for future calls It's a pain, but persistence is key. Good luck!

I swear the whole system is designed to make us give up. Stay strong, OP! Don't let them win! šŸ’Ŗ

Pro tip: if you have a friend or family member who speaks another language, have them call and request an interpreter. Those lines are usually way less busy!

Woah, that's actually genius. Gonna try this with my Spanish-speaking cousin!

Is that even allowed? Seems like cheating the system...

It's not cheating, just using available resources. The interpreters are there for a reason!
