SDI Callback Worries: Will I Lose My Spot in Line?
Hey everyone, I'm trying to get through to the unemployment office about my SDI claim. I paid for a callback service, but now I'm worried because the office is closed. Will I still get my callback tomorrow without having to pay again? Also, has anyone dealt with SDI issues recently? What was your experience like?

Ugh, dealing with SDI is such a pain! I've been trying to get through for weeks. As for your callback, if you already paid, you should be good for tomorrow. They usually keep your spot in line. Good luck!

ā¢I know, right? š¤¦āāļø Sometimes I wonder if anyone actually works there or if it's just a bunch of robots ignoring our calls lol

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

ā¢Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

ā¢$20? That's steep. Why should we have to pay to access a government service? š

ā¢I get the skepticism, but it seriously saved me weeks of frustration. Worth every penny IMO. They even have a money-back guarantee if you don't get through.

Pro tip: Try calling right when they open. I've had better luck getting through early in the morning. Also, make sure you have all your paperwork ready before you call. They always ask for a ton of info.

Anyone else feel like the whole SDI system is designed to make us give up? š¤ I swear, every time I call, I get a different answer. It's like playing unemployment roulette.

Here's what I've learned from my SDI nightmare: ⢠Always document everything. Write down who you talked to, when, and what they said. ⢠If possible, communicate through the online portal. It leaves a paper trail. ⢠Be persistent but polite. The people on the phone didn't create this mess. ⢠Check your claim status online regularly. Sometimes things move without them notifying you. ⢠If you're really stuck, contact your local state representative. They can sometimes cut through the red tape. Hang in there, OP. It's a frustrating process, but you'll get through it eventually!

ā¢Contacting your rep is key! I did this and suddenly my claim started moving. Funny how that works š¤

Has anyone had luck with the SDI appeals process? I got denied and I'm not sure if it's worth the hassle to appeal.

ā¢DO IT! I appealed and won. It took forever, but I finally got my benefits. Don't give up!

ā¢I'm in the middle of an appeal now. It's a pain, but I heard the success rate is pretty high if you have all your docs in order.

Plot twist: what if we all show up at the SDI office with lawn chairs and snacks? Make it a party while we wait for our claims to process šš

ā¢LOL I'm in! We could sell tickets. Might make more money than waiting for our benefits š¤£

ā¢Knowing our luck, they'd probably make us file a permit for the party... and then lose it in their system š
