Need help ASAP: Can't reschedule disability appointment, any quick ways to contact them?

Hey everyone, I'm having trouble rescheduling my disability appointment. I tried to reschedule it for today but I'm not sure if it went through. Has anyone else had issues with this? Any advice on how to get in touch with someone quickly? I really need to speak with them ASAP.

Ugh, I feel your pain. The disability office is a nightmare to deal with. I've been trying to get through to them for weeks. It's like they don't want us to actually get help 🙄

Seriously! Its like they purposely make it difficult. I swear the system is designed to make us give up.

Guys, lets not assume the worst. They're probably just understaffed and overworked. Still sucks tho 😕

Maybe, but that doesn't make it any easier for us. We need help NOW, not when they finally get their act together.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone! I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sounds too good to be true. Are you sure it's legit?

Yeah, I was skeptical at first too, but I tried it and it actually worked. Saved me hours of frustration.

20 bucks tho? That's kinda steep just to talk to someone we should be able to reach anyway.

I get it, but for me, it was worth it. Time is money, and I was wasting so much time trying to get through.

Have you tried using their online portal to reschedule? Sometimes it's easier than calling.

Pro tip: call right when they open in the morning. You might have to wait on hold for a bit, but at least you'll be in the queue.

This! I always call first thing and usually get through within an hour or so.

Here's what worked for me: 1. Call exactly at 8:00 AM when they open 2. Choose the Spanish option (even if you don't speak Spanish) 3. When you get an agent, politely ask if they speak English. If not, they'll transfer you to an English-speaking agent 4. Be super nice and explain your situation It's a bit of a hack, but I've had success with this method multiple times. Good luck!

Wow, this is actually genius. Gonna try this tomorrow morning!

Isn't this kinda unethical tho? What if someone who actually needs Spanish help can't get through?

I get where you're coming from, but desperate times call for desperate measures. The system is broken for everyone.

Have you tried reaching out to your local representative? Sometimes they can help push things through faster.
