Call EDD's main line (not the SDI line) and explain the situation. Be patient and polite - the person on the other end didn't cause this problem. 3. Ask them to merge the accounts or delete the old one. They might need to transfer you to a specialist. 4. Once that's sorted, THEN file your SDI claim using the correct account. 5. Quick question - when you created the second account, did you use the same SSN? Cuz that might cause issues with your claim later on.

idk if this helps, but I had a friend who went through something similar. She ended up having to go to an EDD office in person to get it sorted. Took forever, but at least she got it done.
