EDD disability payment 20+ days late, no notification. What to do?
I haven't received my disability payment in over 20 days. I'm really worried and don't know what to do. I haven't gotten any notifications or letters from EDD about the delay. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice on what I should do next?

Ugh, that sucks! Have you checked your bank account info on the EDD website? Sometimes they mess up the routing numbers and stuff.

•This happened to me last year. Turns out my claim got flagged for review. Took forever to sort out. You might wanna call them asap

20 days?! That's ridiculous. The system is so broken. I swear they make it hard on purpose to save money. 🤬

Hey, I found a way to actually get someone on the phone at EDD. I used this site called claimyr.com. It's a calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, and then sends the call to your phone when a live agent picks up. It costs $20, but it worked for me. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

•I get it, but for me it was worth it. I was going crazy trying to get through on my own.

Here's what you need to do: 1. Keep calling EDD every day. Use the trick of calling right when they open. 2. Check your EDD online account for any messages or updates. 3. Make sure all your certifications are up to date. 4. If you have a disability case worker, try emailing them directly. 5. As a last resort, contact your local state representative. They can sometimes help push things through. Don't give up! The system is frustrating, but persistence usually pays off. Good luck!

•This is solid advice. I'd add: document EVERYTHING. Every call, every letter, every online message. It'll help if you need to escalate things later.

Quick question - have you been certifying every two weeks still? Sometimes if you miss a certification, it can hold up payments.

•Yep, I've been keeping up with all my certifications. That's why I'm so confused about the delay 😕
