EDD SDI claim visible online but not by phone - missing details and conflicting info
Has anyone else had trouble with their claim showing up online but not when you call in? I submitted a claim and it's visible on the website, but when I dial in, they say there's no claim for my SSN. Plus, the claim summary details are missing online. It's so frustrating! I'm trying to follow up but getting nowhere. Anyone know what's going on or how to fix this?

Have you tried faxing your info? I know it sounds ancient, but sometimes the old school methods work when everything else fails. Worth a shot!

Old methods can be surprisingly effective! Especially when systems are down, faxing gets documents in front of the right people.

Have you guys heard about this new service that calls EDD for you? I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

I know it sounds crazy, but it saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo.

Anyone else feel like they need a degree in rocket science to navigate the EDD website? ๐๐จโ๐ฌ I swear it's more complicated than landing on the moon

Lmaooo for real tho. EDD should hire some of us, we'd probably do a better job at this point ๐คทโโ๏ธ

User-friendly interfaces are crucial for public systems. Improvements are needed; feedback can help drive change.

It sounds like youโre dealing with a synchronization issue between the EDD's online portal and their phone system. This isn't uncommon, as different systems can sometimes update at varying intervals. Claimyr has been helping users bypass long hold times by connecting them directly to EDD agents, which can be a game-changer for many. However, $20 per call might not be feasible for everyone, and itโs important to weigh the benefits against the cost. Another approach is to escalate the issue by contacting a tier 2 representative or seeking assistance from your local state representative. Documenting everything, using persistent communication, and utilizing both traditional (like faxing) and modern techniques (clearing cache) can also help. Keep pushing for resolution as these issues can ultimately be solved with perseverance and informed strategies.

Guys, I think I found a workaround! Try logging out of your account, clearing your browser cache, then logging back in. For some reason, this refreshed my claim info and synced it with the phone system. No guarantees, but it's worth a try!

Clearing cache can solve various issues, but not always. It's still a good initial troubleshooting step.

Have you tried calling early in the morning? I've had better luck getting through to someone who can actually help around 8:01 AM. It's still a pain, but might be worth a shot.

Here's what you need to do, step by step: 1. Take screenshots of your online claim. Document EVERYTHING. 2. Call the main EDD number as soon as they open (8:00 AM sharp). 3. If you can't get through, keep trying every 15 minutes. 4. When you do get through, explain the discrepancy between online and phone systems. 5. Ask them to escalate to a tier 2 representative if the first person can't help. 6. If they still can't resolve it, request a callback from a claims specialist. 7. Follow up with an email to EDD, attaching your screenshots. 8. If all else fails, contact your local state representative's office. They can often cut through red tape. Remember, persistence is key. Don't give up! It's your money, and you're entitled to it. Good luck!

This happened to me too! Turns out there was a glitch in their system. I had to call every day for a week before I got someone who could actually see both the online and phone system. They had to manually sync it or something. Keep trying!

Manual syncing seems inefficient, but it's a reality with some big systems. Persistence is key, so don't lose hope!

I've had the exact same issue! It's like their systems don't talk to each other or something. Have you tried going to the local office? Sometimes face-to-face is the only way to get things sorted out.

True, in-person visits might expedite resolution. The downside is the time commitment and potential wait times. Prepare for a long day, but it can be worth it if it resolves the issue.

Funny as it is, sometimes outdated systems and limited funding can lead to these frustrations. It's unfortunate and needs improvement for sure.
