EDD Disability: Returned to work, still waiting on claim funds. How long did it take you?

Ugh, I'm in the same boat. Been back at work for 3 weeks now and still nothing from EDD. It's so frustrating! 😤

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Here's what worked for me: 1. Make sure all your paperwork is in order 2. Call first thing in the morning (like right when they open) 3. If you can't get through, keep trying every 30 minutes 4. Be super nice to the rep when you finally talk to someone 5. Follow up with an email summarizing your call It took about 2 weeks after I did all this to get my funds. Hope this helps!

lol good luck. EDD is a joke. I swear they just throw our claims in a big pile and pick random ones to process 🤡

Have you checked your online account? Sometimes the status updates there before you actually get the money.

Pro tip: contact your local state representative's office. They can sometimes help expedite claims. Worked for me when I was stuck in limbo for months.
