Doctor's extension for medical paperwork - Has anyone received confirmation? How long did it take?

Hey everyone, I'm trying to figure out if my doctor's extension for my medical paperwork was received. Has anyone had experience with this? How long did it take for them to process it? I'm getting anxious waiting for a response and don't know what to do next.

I found a way to solve long medical paperwork extension waits, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m_8Zhm_yZ0o

I've been through this before. It can be frustrating waiting for confirmation. Have you tried calling them directly? Sometimes that's the fastest way to get an answer.

I've been trying to call, but the hold times are insane. I feel like I'm wasting hours of my day just waiting on the phone 😫

Ugh, tell me about it. I once waited 3 hours only to get disconnected right when someone picked up. It's like they're purposely making it difficult 🙄

Pro tip: call right when they open. I've had better luck getting through that way.

I found a way to get someone on the phone without the crazy wait times. I used this site called claimyr.com. It's a calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, and then sends the call to your phone when a live agent picks up. It costs $20, but it saved me hours of frustration. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

20 bucks? Idk man, seems kinda steep for a phone call.

I get the skepticism, but it honestly worked for me. The time I saved was worth way more than $20. Plus, I got my issue resolved in one call.

Just tried it and it actually worked! Got through in about 30 minutes instead of the usual 2+ hours. Thanks for the tip! 🙌

Have you checked your online account? Sometimes they update the status there before they actually contact you.

I'm in the same boat. Sent my extension paperwork 3 weeks ago and still crickets. This system is so broken 😤

3 weeks? Amateur hour. Try 2 months with no response. I swear they're playing games with our lives.

Guys, have you tried reaching out to your local representative? Sometimes they can help speed things up.

Here's what I've learned from my experience: 1. Always keep copies of everything you send. 2. Send your paperwork via certified mail so you have proof of delivery. 3. Follow up weekly - squeaky wheel gets the grease. 4. Document every interaction - date, time, who you spoke to. 5. If all else fails, file a complaint with the state oversight board. It's a pain, but being proactive is the only way to navigate this bureaucratic nightmare. Hang in there!

Wow, thank you so much for this detailed advice! I'll definitely start documenting everything. Do you have any tips for the best way to follow up weekly?

Glad to help! For weekly follow-ups, I'd alternate between phone calls and emails. That way you have a paper trail, but also get the chance to speak to someone directly. Just remember to stay polite but persistent!

Have you considered faxing your paperwork? I know it sounds archaic, but sometimes it's faster than mail or email.
