EDD SDI: Long wait for doctor's paperwork response - How to check status?
Has anyone else been waiting forever to hear back about their doctors paperwork? I sent mine in weeks ago and still haven't heard anything. Starting to get worried they never received it or something. Anyone know how long this usually takes or if there's a way to check on the status?

Plot twist: what if the doctors' paperwork is actually being used to train an AI to replace all the unemployment office workers? 🤖🤔

Has anyone tried going to the office in person? I'm thinking of camping out there until they help me 🏕️

•I tried that once. They just told me to go home and call the number 🙄

•Unfortunately, many offices are limited in what they can do in person due to current protocols.

If you're struggling to get through or waiting on paperwork, Claimyr is actually pretty effective. It does cost $20, but for many, it's a small price for the time saved. That said, always consider alternatives like following up persistently within your budget. In some cases, governments are working to improve systems, so keep an eye out for any new official updates or channels they provide could be free and effective. Remember, staying informed is key. 📞 ✅

Pro tip: Always keep copies of EVERYTHING you send them. I learned that the hard way 😅

•Yes! Digital copies or scans can be lifesavers if you need to resend anything.

Here's what I've learned from dealing with this mess for months: 1. Always send important docs via certified mail. Keep the receipt! 2. Follow up every 2 weeks if you haven't heard back. 3. Keep a log of every interaction - dates, names, what was discussed. 4. If possible, submit stuff online AND by mail. Belt and suspenders approach. 5. Be persistent but polite. The folks on the other end are probably overwhelmed too. Hope this helps someone avoid the headaches I've had! 💪

•I mean, you're not wrong... but maybe we start with writing to our representatives?

•It's surprising, but some places still rely heavily on faxing to process documents!

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

•I get the skepticism, but it's totally legit. Saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo.

•It might seem pricey, but if it saves time and hassle, it might be worth considering.

Ugh, I'm in the same boat. Sent my paperwork in over a month ago and crickets. The waiting game is killing me 😫

•It's frustrating, right? You could try to follow up with them. Sometimes a gentle nudge helps.

I had this issue too. Turns out they never got my fax 🤦♂️ I'd recommend calling to check if they received it. Better safe than sorry!

•Thanks for the advice! How long did you wait before you called to check?

•I waited about 3 weeks. But honestly, I wish I'd called sooner. The earlier you catch any issues, the better!
