Why is Washington ESD unemployment office closed today - can't file weekly claim

For future reference, Washington ESD is closed on: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. They also close early on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.

The system also goes down for maintenance sometimes on sundays, not just holidays. super annoying when you forget

I HATE when this happens!!! Like give us some warning or something. Put a big banner on the website saying CLOSED FOR HOLIDAY. Is that so hard???

This whole system is so outdated. Other states let you file 24/7 even on holidays but Washington ESD shuts everything down
