Yeah it's totally legitimate. They basically call for you and stay on hold, then connect you when they get through. Saved me so much frustration.

I used Claimyr too after seeing it mentioned here. Got through to Washington ESD same day when I'd been trying for weeks on my own.

They do list it if you dig around but it's not very prominent. Should be right on the main page IMO.

Oof that's frustrating. Make sure you have any documentation about the layoff when you call - emails, notices, anything that shows it wasn't voluntary.

Separation issues can take 4-6 weeks unfortunately. The adjudicator has to contact your employer and review all the evidence before making a decision.

Online services like filing weekly claims and checking your account stay available. Only the phone support and physical offices close for holidays.

Yeah you can still do everything through eServices on holidays, just can't talk to a human.

Seriously recommend Claimyr for overpayment issues. Those are time-sensitive and you don't want to miss appeal deadlines.

I've had good luck calling around 11:30am too, right before lunch break. Sometimes there's a little lull then.

Washington ESD doesn't have a callback system. You might be thinking of another agency.

Also write down your questions ahead of time. Easy to forget what you wanted to ask when you're finally talking to someone.
