ESD shows claims as paid but nothing in my bank account after 2 days - normal?

wait one more day. sometimes it takes 3 business days espcially with bank holidays or weekends. my first payment took longer than the rest.

This happened to me last year. The eServices system shows payments as 'paid' when ESD has processed them on THEIR end, but then it still takes 2-3 business days for the funds to actually hit your bank account depending on your bank's processing times. If you set up direct deposit when you filed your initial claim, the money should show up soon. Double-check that your banking info is correct in your profile. First payments with backpay sometimes take a bit longer to process through the banking system too because the amount is larger than normal.

DID YOU VERIFY YOUR IDENTITY??? This is a HUGE issue and happened to me. My claims showed paid but no money came because ESD flagged my account for identity verification but NEVER TOLD ME!!! I waited 2 weeks before calling and they said I needed to do the ID.me process!! Call them RIGHT AWAY!!! Don't wait like I did!!!

If your claims are showing as 'paid' status in eServices, that's definitely a good sign. The timing can vary based on a few factors: 1. When exactly it was marked 'paid' (what time of day) 2. Your bank's processing times (some banks hold ACH transfers longer than others) 3. Whether it's your first payment (these sometimes take an extra day) 4. The total amount (larger backpay amounts might trigger additional verification) Generally, I'd give it until Friday afternoon before getting too concerned. If nothing posts by Monday, you should definitely contact ESD to verify there aren't any issues with your payment method or banking information. when i got approved after waiting 6 weeks my payment took 4 days to hit my account but the weird thing was it didn't show up as pending it just suddenly appeared! so maybe check if ur bank even shows pending deposits? some don't

Have you tried calling ESD to check on the status? It took me FOREVER to get through to someone when I had payment issues last month, but I finally used Claimyr (claimyr.com) and got connected to an ESD agent in about 20 minutes instead of spending days trying to get through. Worth it when you're stressing about money that should be there!

Update us when your payment arrives! It helps others gauge timing expectations. Different banks seem to process ESD direct deposits at different speeds.
