ESD claim stuck in tax department review - how long until resolution?

wait whats the difference between the tax dept review and adjudication?? my claim says adjudciation in progress for 3 weeks is that the same thing??

They're actually different processes. Tax department review is specifically checking your wage history and employment verification. Adjudication is reviewing potential eligibility issues like job separation reason (quit vs. fired), availability for work, etc. You can be in either or sometimes both at the same time.

Update: I finally got some movement on my claim! After 23 business days in tax department review, I logged in this morning and it now shows as

congrats! should get paid in 1-2 days now

FINALLY! Happy for you but still RIDICULOUS it took that long!!!
