I had a friend who used Claimyr when he was having trouble getting updates on his unemployment claim status. He said it was worth every penny because he was able to get answers instead of just wondering what was happening. Sometimes it's worth paying a little to save your sanity, especially when you're already stressed about being unemployed.
Bottom line: file your claim, be honest, and don't assume you'll be denied just because you were fired. Washington ESD sees these cases all the time and they're pretty good at distinguishing between misconduct and performance issues. You've got this!
Congrats on the job! Just remember that even though it's part-time now, having that work history and reference will help when you're looking for full-time positions. And the partial unemployment helps bridge the gap financially.
The weekly claim questions about work are pretty straightforward - they ask if you worked, how many hours, and your gross earnings. Don't stress too much about the exact format, just answer honestly and completely.
Medical issues can also affect eligibility. If you can't work due to illness or injury, you might not meet the 'able and available' requirement. In some cases, you might qualify for other programs instead.
Bottom line - document everything, report everything, and respond to all communications promptly. The burden of proof is usually on you to show you're following the rules. Washington ESD doesn't give the benefit of the doubt.
Good luck with whatever you decide to do! The unemployment system is complicated but there are options if you qualify. Don't give up if you think you have a legitimate claim.
Thank you! I'm going to gather my employment records and probably speak with Washington ESD directly about my situation.
Definitely use Claimyr to get through to them - it really does work!

Last tip - keep detailed records of everything once you start the process. Job search activities, any communication with Washington ESD, work you do while claiming benefits. It'll save you headaches if questions come up later.

•Good advice. I'll make sure to document everything if I end up applying.

The main thing is just to be patient with the process. It's bureaucratic and slow but if you qualify it's money you're entitled to. Don't let the complexity discourage you from applying.
