For anyone having trouble accessing past 1099-G forms, here's what you need to know: 1. For online access: Log in to your eServices account → go to your dashboard → click on the "1099G Tax Forms" link → select the year you need (2021) 2. If you're locked out of your account: Use the account recovery option, not just password reset. Go to secure.esd.wa.gov/home/ and click "Get Help" then "I forgot my username or password" 3. For phone requests: Call 866-697-4831 during less busy times (early morning Tuesday-Thursday) 4. You can also submit a written request with your personal details to ESD Records Disclosure Unit 5. If your address has changed since 2021, make sure to update it first or they might mail it to the wrong place Hope this helps someone!
UPDATE: I finally got my 1099-G! Tried the account recovery option instead of just resetting my password (thanks for that tip!) and was able to get into eServices. For anyone else struggling with this - don't give up! And definitely save copies of everything for the future so you don't have to go through this again.
To answer your question about prioritization - ESD generally processes claims in the order received, but certain factors can affect prioritization: 1. Hardship cases (imminent eviction, utilities shutoff) may be expedited if you've submitted a hardship request 2. Simple issues are often resolved faster than complex ones 3. Employer response times can significantly impact resolution speed 4. Certain industries or claim types may be grouped together for efficiency Since you've been waiting since January, I'd actually recommend trying to reach them directly. At this point, a quick call could potentially identify if there's a specific issue holding up your claim that could be easily resolved.
UPDATE: You guys were right! I just checked my account this morning and my status has changed from "Adjudication" to "Paid"!!! All my weeks that were pending are now processing for payment. The date change DID mean something was happening. Thank you all for your help and suggestions. For anyone else stuck in adjudication - hang in there and watch for these system changes, they might be good signs!
when i had this problem i just kept calling over and over all day. took like 67 calls but i finally got thru around 2pm. its stupid but thats the only way sometimes
One last suggestion that sometimes works - try calling earlier in the week (Monday/Tuesday) rather than later. Call volumes tend to be highest Thursday/Friday. Also, the 2-3pm timeframe sometimes has slightly shorter wait times as lunch breaks are over and they're not yet in end-of-day processing. It's still difficult, but might give you a slight edge.
I'll try the Monday afternoon strategy next week. Between that, the secure message with better details, and maybe that Claimyr service someone mentioned, hopefully SOMETHING will work. I appreciate everyone's help!

they'll probably backpay you for the weeks once approved so don't stress too much. but yea this system is horrible i feel ur pain

This is a prime example of why ESD adjudication takes so long - the distinctions between being laid off, quitting, being terminated, or refusing unsuitable work are so nuanced, and the application doesn't really let you explain unique situations well. I went through something similar last year. I was told my position was being eliminated in a restructure (layoff), but on my last day they tried to say I was being fired for performance (termination). Took 5 weeks in adjudication, but ultimately I won because I had emails from months earlier discussing the restructuring. Document everything. If you have the original restructuring notice plus the email saying it wasn't a termination, you're in good shape. But absolutely call ESD to make sure they understand the full picture, especially if you accidentally selected 'quit' on your application.
