This has been one of the most helpful threads I've seen on here. Thanks to everyone who shared their knowledge and experience!
Just to summarize for anyone finding this thread later: Log into SecureAccess Washington, check your Claim Summary for maximum benefit amount, check Payment History to see what you've received so far, and subtract to find your remaining balance. Also remember the 26-week time limit regardless of dollar amount remaining.
I had to appeal my monetary determination because they didn't include wages from one of my employers. Make sure to review the determination letter carefully when you get it to verify all your wages are included correctly.
It took about 6 weeks to get resolved, but I got back pay for the higher benefit amount once it was corrected. Worth fighting for if they make a mistake.
This is another situation where being able to actually talk to an ESD agent through Claimyr would be helpful - they can often fix wage reporting issues over the phone if you have the documentation.
Thanks everyone for all the detailed information! This gives me a much better understanding of how the benefit calculation works. I feel more confident about filing my claim now that I know what to expect for my weekly benefit amount.
For those still waiting - try to stay positive and use the time productively. I spent my waiting period updating my resume and applying for jobs. Helped keep my mind occupied.
This thread has been super helpful. Nice to know I'm not alone in this process. The waiting really is the hardest part but at least now I have realistic expectations.
I went through something similar with a restaurant job. Manager told Washington ESD I was fired for attendance when I was actually laid off due to slow business. Took 2 months to get it sorted out but I eventually got all my back pay. The key was having documentation and not giving up on the appeal process.
This gives me hope! I was starting to think I'd never get benefits. Did you have to go to a hearing or was it resolved just with documents?
Bottom line - don't let them steamroll you. Appeal the decision, gather your evidence, and keep filing weekly claims. Washington ESD makes it hard on purpose hoping people will give up. The squeaky wheel gets the grease with these government agencies.
Thank you everyone for all the advice and encouragement. I'm going to file my appeal today and start documenting everything properly. This forum has been more helpful than anything I could find on the Washington ESD website!

Last thing - make sure you're completing your work search requirements if they apply to your claim type. Sometimes payments get held up if you're missing job search documentation.

•I've been logging my job searches in WorkSourceWA like they told me to. Hopefully that's enough.

•That should be fine. Just keep doing what you're doing with the job search log.

•Good luck! The waiting is the worst part but it usually works out.
