Need help resetting Connect EBT security questions to lock card and prevent fraud
Hey everyone, I'm having trouble accessing my EBT account online. I forgot the answers to my security questions and now I can't log in to lock my card. I'm worried about potential fraud. Has anyone gone through the process of resetting their security questions for Connect EBT? Any tips on what to say when I call them?

Ugh, been there done that. It's such a pain to deal with these security questions. Here's what worked for me: 1. Call the EBT customer service number 2. Tell them you need to reset your security questions 3. They'll probably ask for some personal info to verify your identity 4. Be patient, it might take a while Good luck!

•This is solid advice. I had to do this last month and it was pretty straightforward once I got someone on the phone.

•How long did the whole process take for you? I'm dreading being on hold forever 😩

•It took me about 30 minutes total, but I called early in the morning. Might be longer during peak hours.

Pro tip: Write down your new security question answers somewhere safe after you reset them. I learned that the hard way lol

I found a way to get someone on the phone quickly. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's the link: https://www.claimyr.com

•Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

•20 bucks? That's steep. Is it really worth it?

•I know it sounds sketchy, but I swear it worked for me. Saved me hours of frustration. Up to you if you think it's worth the money.

•Preach! 🙌 It's like they want to make it as difficult as possible for us.

•Totally agree. We need to start a petition or something to improve this process.

Here's a detailed guide on resetting your Connect EBT security questions: 1. Prepare your information: Have your EBT card number, Social Security number, and other personal details ready. 2. Call the EBT customer service: The number should be on the back of your card. 3. Navigate the automated system: Choose the option for account issues or speak to a representative. 4. Verify your identity: They'll ask for personal information to confirm it's you. 5. Request security question reset: Clearly state that you need to reset your security questions. 6. Follow their instructions: They may reset them over the phone or guide you through an online process. 7. Choose new questions and answers: Pick questions you'll remember but aren't easy for others to guess. 8. Confirm the changes: Make sure everything is updated before ending the call. 9. Test your login: Try logging in with your new security answers. 10. Set up additional security: Consider adding a PIN or enabling two-factor authentication if available. Remember to be patient and polite with the representatives. They're there to help! 😊

Anyone else worried about how easy it might be for scammers to reset our security questions? 😬 Feels like a double-edged sword.

•That's why it's crucial to use strong, unique security questions and answers. Don't use info that's easily found online about you.

Fun fact: you can use emojis as answers to security questions. Makes em easier to remember and harder to guess. Like 🍕 for favorite food or 🐶 for first pet lmao
