This is why I always write down my security answers somewhere safe. Learned that lesson the hard way lol
Have you tried going to your local EBT office in person? Sometimes face-to-face is the best way to get these things sorted out.
It depends on your local office. Some take walk-ins, others need appointments. Maybe give them a call to check before you go.
OP, make sure you change your PIN asap! And don't use obvious numbers like birthdays or 1234. Stay strong, you'll get through this! πͺ
This is why I always transfer my benefits to my bank account as soon as they hit. Easier to dispute fraud with a bank than deal with EBT customer service imho.
Yep! You can set up direct deposit for cash benefits. Food benefits still have to stay on the EBT card tho. Check your state's DSS website for instructions.
lol good luck. i gave up and just applied for a new card. took 2 weeks but at least i didnt have to deal with their stupid phone system

Fun fact: you can use emojis as answers to security questions. Makes em easier to remember and harder to guess. Like π for favorite food or πΆ for first pet lmao
