TWC payment stuck in processing since July 14 - anyone else experiencing delays?

Getting worried here... I requested payment on July 14 (almost two weeks ago) and it's still showing as processing. Nothing has hit my account yet. I checked Tele-Serv and got that automated message saying I submitted my payment request "less than 2 weeks ago" but that doesn't seem right. For context, my previous payment request was on June 30th which processed quickly (by July 2nd) but I didn't actually receive money because one week was disqualified (I missed my work search activities) and the other was my waiting week. Is the system backed up right now or should I be concerned something's wrong with my claim? Anyone else waiting longer than usual for payment processing?

There's definitely something going on with TWC's payment processing right now. Mine from July 12th just finally processed yesterday. They seem to be running about 5-7 business days behind their normal schedule. I wouldn't panic yet since you're still within that "less than 2 weeks" window they mentioned. If it hits 3 weeks, then you might want to get concerned.

Thanks for letting me know I'm not the only one! Did you get any explanation for the delay when yours finally processed? I'm getting nervous because I have bills coming up next week that I was counting on this payment for.

Same boat! This is ridiculous. Third time this has happened to me this year.

This is actually a common issue right now. TWC's payment processing system is experiencing delays due to their quarterly system maintenance which happens every July. Here's what you need to know: 1. The delay is temporary and most payments are processing within 7-10 business days (instead of the usual 2-3) 2. The "less than 2 weeks" message is automated and doesn't account for these temporary delays 3. Make sure all your work search activities are properly logged in WorkInTexas.com for the weeks you claimed 4. Double-check that you answered all the payment request questions correctly If your payment doesn't process by next Monday (which would be 3 weeks), then you should contact TWC directly. The delays are frustrating but payments are still being issued, just slower than usual.

Thank you for the detailed explanation! That makes me feel better knowing it's a system-wide issue rather than something specific to my claim. I'll wait until Monday before panicking.

I WAITED THREE WHOLE WEEKS for my June payment!!! They are DELIBERATELY slow-walking payments to save money. Don't believe that "system maintenance" garbage. They've been pulling this same trick every summer for years. And good luck trying to talk to anyone about it - you'll just get disconnected or wait on hold for 4 hours.

omg really?? 3 weeks?? i cant wait that long i have rent due!!!

After dealing with crazy TWC delays like this multiple times, I finally found a service called Claimyr that actually helped me get through to a live agent instead of waiting on hold forever. I was skeptical but checked out their video (https://youtu.be/V-IMvH88P1U?si=kNxmh025COIlIzKh) and decided to try it. The service had TWC call ME back within about 30 minutes, and I was able to get an agent who confirmed my payment was in the queue and gave me an exact date it would process. Saved me days of worry and failed call attempts. Their website is claimyr.com if anyone needs to actually speak to TWC about their delayed payment.

That service actually works? I thought it was a scam. But honestly at this point I'd try anything because I can NEVER get through to TWC. Do they need all your personal info or just your phone number?

They just need your phone number so TWC can call you back. It's not like giving your personal info to some random site - they just help you skip the phone queue. Way better than calling 50+ times and never getting through.

This happens to me last month too. The thing is, if one of your weeks was disqualified and the other was your waiting week (like you mentioned), you might not be getting a payment at all for this request. The system sometimes takes longer to process requests that result in $0 payment. Did you check your claim and payment status on the TWC website (not just Tele-Serv)? Sometimes the website shows more detailed information about why a payment is being held up.

I did check the website but it just shows "pending" for the current request. My June 30th request clearly shows the disqualification for the missed work search and the waiting week, but this new request should be for actual payment weeks. I did all my work searches and reported them correctly. That's why I'm confused about the delay.

This sorta happened to me too. But then I realized I accidentally put the wrong employer contact info for one of my work search activities. Double-check all your entries to make sure you didn't make any small mistakes that could flag your payment for review.

Good point! I just went back through my work search logs and everything looks correct, but I'll triple-check to be sure nothing's flagging the system.

Quick update for everyone - I just got off the phone with TWC (miracle of miracles I actually got through). They confirmed they're experiencing a processing backlog that started around July 10th. The rep told me all pending payments should be cleared by the end of this week. They're not reviewing claims any differently; it's purely a technical processing delay.

Thank you SO MUCH for that update! That's exactly the information I was hoping for. Fingers crossed my payment comes through by Friday then.

how did u even get thru to them?? ive been calling for 2 days straight!

Pure luck honestly. I called right when they opened at 8:00 AM and somehow got through after only a 20 minute wait. First time that's ever happened!

When this happened to me I just kept resubmitting my payment request every day until it went through lol

Please don't do this! Submitting multiple payment requests can actually flag your account for potential fraud review, which will delay your payment even further. The system only allows one payment request per biweekly period - additional requests don't speed up processing and can cause problems.

UPDATE: My payment finally processed this morning! It took exactly 15 days from request to processing. Looks like everyone was right about the delays. Thanks for all the advice and reassurance - it really helped keep me from panicking. For anyone else still waiting, hang in there!
