PA UC deposit suddenly reversed same day - Money Network card issue?

same thing happened 2 me last month. dont worry it will come back. system glitch

Did you have to do anything to fix it or did it just reappear? I'm worried because rent is due this week.

This happens when there's an issue with the Money Network system. I've seen it a few times where the deposit shows up, then disappears, then shows back up the next day. BUT if it doesn't reappear by tomorrow afternoon, you definitely need to call the Money Network customer service first (number on back of card). They'll tell you if it's just pending or if there's a real problem with your UC claim.

The Money Network customer service is useless!! I spent 45 mins on hold last time I called them and they couldn't even tell me why my payment was delayed. They just kept saying \

You're right that their customer service can be awful. But in this specific case, they can at least tell you if the payment was reversed by the UC office (bad news) or if it's just a processing delay on their end (usually gets fixed).

This is actually pretty common with Money Network cards and PA UC deposits. The system does an initial authorization, then sometimes reverses it, then posts the actual deposit within 24-48 hours. Thanks, that makes me feel better. I'll wait until Wednesday then. But isn't getting through to the UC office basically impossible? I've tried calling before and got disconnected after waiting an hour.

If you need to talk to a real person at PA UC (which you might if this isn't resolved by Wednesday), try using Claimyr. It got me through to an agent in about 20 minutes when I had a similar issue with my deposit disappearing. EVERYBODY LISTEN UP - THE UC SYSTEM IS UPDATING TONIGHT!!!! I just got off the phone with them (waited 2.5 hrs) and they said they're doing system maintenance on the payment processing system tonight and tomorrow. That's why some payments are showing up and disappearing. The rep said ALL payments will be reprocessed by Wednesday morning. DON'T PANIC and DON'T WASTE TIME CALLING!!!

Why don't they ever announce these things?? They could send an email or text warning people instead of making everyone freak out. Typical PA unemployment incompetence.

The lady I talked to said they DID post notices in the portal but nobody reads them lol. But I agree they should text people about maintenance that affects payments!

My sister-in-law works for UC and she just texted me that they're upgrading the payment system tonight and tomorrow. Some payments are going to show as pending or might disappear temporarily. Everything should be back to normal by Wednesday. They're updating from their ancient computer system to something from this century finally lol
