What does distributed mean on NYS Department of Labor unemployment claim status?
I'm checking my claim status on my.ny.gov and it shows 'distributed' next to my weekly certification from two weeks ago. I've never seen this status before and I'm not sure what it means. Did my payment go through? Should I be expecting something in the mail? I usually get direct deposit but this week seems different. Has anyone else seen this 'distributed' status on their NYS Department of Labor account?

Distributed means your payment has been processed and sent out by NYS Department of Labor. If you have direct deposit set up, the money should hit your account within 1-2 business days. If you're getting a debit card, it means the funds have been loaded onto your card. You can check your payment history in your account to see the exact amount that was distributed.
