No catch that I found. they just call and wait on hold so you don't have to. When an agent answers they connect the call to your phone. Saved me hours of hold time.

It worked for me! Got my backpay issue resolved after one call. After months of nothing, I had $9800 deposited within a week.

They just do one thing - connect you with a live agent. That's it. No promises beyond that. But getting a human on the phone was all I needed to fix my issue.

Nope. Always "we'll have someone call you back" and then crickets. The whole supervisor thing is a myth if you ask me.

Just google "NY state assembly finder" and you can put in your address. Their offices deal with this stuff all the time.

Yeah, Claimyr was actually what finally got me through to the right person. Before that I was just getting the general call center folks who couldn't help much.

It's buried on their website. Go to the ny.gov site and search for "unemployment ombudsman" - you gotta fill out a form

I believe it was commissioner@labor.ny.gov but double check that. Make your subject line very clear like "URGENT: 12 months of backpay owed - Claim #XXXXX

Actually I tried claimyr.com after seeing it here last month and it did work. Got a real person on the phone in like 2 hours. Just saying.

nope, worked exactly as advertised. they dont fix ur claim but they get u past the impossible phone system
