New York Unemployment claim pending after adjudication case closed - what does this mean?
Filed unemployment last month and sent back their questionnaire right away. The automated system says my adjudication case is closed but my claim is still pending. Haven't gotten any letters in the mail and can't reach anyone. Does anyone know if I could still get benefits while pending?

If the adjudication is closed that usually means they finished reviewing your case. Keep checking your payment history tab daily. Mine went from pending to paid about 3 days after adjudication closed without any notice 💯

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone finally. Used this site claimyr.com - its a calling service that waits on hold and calls you when an agent picks up. Costs $20 but totally worth it cause I was going crazy trying to get answers. Here's their demo video: https://youtu.be/Rdqa1gKtxuE

Here's what you need to know about NY unemployment claims after adjudication: - Closed adjudication usually means they finished reviewing your docs - Pending status can last 2-6 weeks after adjudication - Keep certifying weekly even while pending - Check payment history tab daily - If urgent, use claimyr.com to reach an agent (worth the $20) - Watch your email AND mail for correspondence - Document everything in case you need to appeal Don't give up, most claims get approved after adjudication closes!
