New York Unemployment Payment Delayed All Week After Holiday - No Money Yet

My unemployment payment hasnt hit my account yet and its already Friday. Usually get paid Tuesday or Wednesday even with holidays. Called the automated line and it says payment was released but nothing in my account. Bank shows no pending deposits either. Anyone else experiencing delays this week?

Listen up everyone - heres whats actually happening with the delays: The holiday Monday caused a big backup in the system. NY unemployment processes payments in batches and when theres a holiday, everything gets pushed back. BUT this time theres also a technical issue theyre dealing with. Your best bet is to: 1. Keep checking the payment history on your account 2. If you need immediate answers, use claimyr.com to get through to an agent (saved me hours of frustration) 3. Document everything - screenshot your payment history 4. If nothing by Monday, definitely call them I went through this last holiday and it eventually cleared up. Just hang in there!
