Is the NYS Department of Labor unemployment website down right now - can't access my claim
I've been trying to log into my.ny.gov for the past hour to file my weekly claim and the page won't load at all. Just keeps timing out or showing some generic error message. Is anyone else having this problem? I'm supposed to file today and I'm worried about missing the deadline. The NYS Department of Labor phone lines are completely jammed too - can't get through to anyone.

The NYS Department of Labor website has been having intermittent outages all week. They usually don't penalize you for late filing if it's due to system issues on their end, but you should document the outage. Try clearing your browser cache and cookies first, then attempt to access the site using a different browser or incognito mode. Sometimes the issue is with cached login credentials.

•Yes, screenshot with timestamp is good. Also try accessing other NY.gov pages to see if it's the whole state system or just the unemployment portal.

This happened to me last month during a major outage. I couldn't reach anyone at NYS Department of Labor for 3 days straight. The state's IT infrastructure is a joke. This happens every few weeks and they act surprised every time. Meanwhile people are stressed about losing benefits because of THEIR technical problems.

Just checked and I can get to the main ny.gov page but when I click on unemployment services it just spins forever. Definitely seems like their unemployment section is having problems specifically.

I'm having the exact same issue! Been trying since 6 AM and the unemployment portal just won't load. Really stressing me out because I can't afford to miss my weekly certification. Has anyone tried calling the technical support line instead of the regular unemployment line? Sometimes they have a separate number for website issues that might be less busy.

I've been calling the main line all morning and it just keeps saying "all circuits are busy" before hanging up.
