Can't find NYS Department of Labor unemployment office near Pendleton - where is it located?
I've been trying to find the physical NYS Department of Labor office closest to Pendleton for weeks now. I need to submit some documents in person for my unemployment claim and I can't figure out where the nearest office is. The website just keeps directing me to online services but I really need to speak with someone face to face about my adjudication issue. Does anyone know the exact address or if there's even still a physical office open in this area? I'm getting frustrated because my claim has been pending for over a month.

Most NYS Department of Labor offices have limited in-person services now. You might need to go to Buffalo or Rochester depending on which Pendleton you're near. Have you tried calling the main number first? Sometimes they can handle document submissions over the phone or through their online portal.

•I've tried calling but can never get through! It just rings busy or hangs up after being on hold forever.

For document submission related to adjudication, you typically don't need to visit in person anymore. You can upload documents through your my.ny.gov account under the 'Documents' section of your unemployment claim. If your adjudication is taking too long, that's usually because they're waiting for employer response or need additional verification.

•I tried uploading but it keeps saying the file format isn't supported. I have everything in PDF but it won't take it.

I had the same issue with getting through to NYS Department of Labor by phone. Someone on here recommended this service called Claimyr that actually calls for you and gets you connected to an agent. Check out claimyr.com - they have a video demo at https://youtu.be/qyftW-mnTNI that shows exactly how it works. I was skeptical at first but it actually got me through to someone in like 20 minutes when I'd been trying for weeks.

•How much does that cost though? Seems like we shouldn't have to pay extra just to reach our own unemployment office.

•I get that frustration but honestly it was worth it for me. Way less stress than spending hours every day trying to call.

The whole system is broken. Why do we even have unemployment offices if they're never open and you can't reach anyone? This is exactly what's wrong with NYS Department of Labor - they make it impossible to get help when you actually need it most.
