Go to id.me/nysdol directly in your browser. Thats the official link. Had same issue last month where their emails would take me to incorrect pages. Once i went directly there it worked fine. Just make sure you have your drivers license and social security card ready, they'll ask you to upload photos of them.

Make sure ur clearing your cookies and cache before trying ID.me stuff. That fixed it for me after like 20 failed attempts.

update ur browser!! i was using an older version of chrome and kept getting errors. updated it and suddenly everything worked fine.

why tf do we even need this ID.me garbage?? the normal verification system worked fine before. this is just adding unnecessary steps to an already broken system. ny unemployment just making things worse 🤡
