Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. I'm an accountant and deal with this every year. If you absolutely can't get your 1099-G, you can fill out Form 4852 (Substitute for Form 1099-G) and attach it to your return. You'll need to estimate your unemployment compensation as accurately as possible from bank statements.

Unpopular opinion but try looking for your 1099G on the IRS website directly through their transcript service. Sometimes they have it even when the state won't give it to you.

I was stuck in the exact same situation, OP. I'm guessing you filed on your own? I gave up after months of no payment and ended up contacting my state assemblyman's office. They have direct lines to DOL and got my payment unstuck within a week. Worth a try!

•Yep! Just google your address + NY assembly member. Call their office and ask to speak with whoever handles DOL cases. They'll need your name, contact info, and claim ID. They've seen tons of these tourism payment issues.

Have u tried calling ur bank? Sometimes they can see pending ACH transfers even if ReliaCard says it went thru. My bank (Chase) was able to tell me my transfer was stuck in some kind of verification hold and they helped push it thru.
I called them twice and they said they don't see anything from ReliaCard at all, not even pending 😕

so frustrating!!!! i switched to just withdrawing cash at the ATM and closing my ReliaCard account. i dont trust them anymore after they "lost" my money twice. the whole ny unemployment system is designed to make everything as difficult as possible i swear

File an extension with the IRS so you don't get penalized for late filing while you're waiting for the form. Thatll give you till October to sort this out.
