If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

By the way, for anyone who had a name change recently, I had to go through a whole separate verification process because my November email had my married name but the check system still had my maiden name. So if your name changed and you don't get your check when you should, that might be why!

Update: I deposited my check through mobile deposit and it cleared this morning. No issues. For anyone worried about the delay - a friend of mine called using that Claimyr service someone mentioned above and found out his check was sent to his old address even though he updated his info online. They're resending it but said it'll take another 2-3 weeks. Might be worth checking if you've moved in the past year.

One more thing to keep in mind - make sure you check both your old and new claim inboxes for any messages requiring action. Sometimes when you file a new claim right at the BYE date, they might send identity verification requests or additional questionnaires that can hold up both claims if not addressed quickly.

Just checked and there's nothing in either inbox yet. Hopefully that's a good sign!

UPDATE: Great news! My payment did come through today as normal. It was about 4 hours later than usual, but it's in my account now. Thanks everyone for your help and advice. For anyone else in this situation - it seems like it can go either way based on everyone's different experiences. Some get paid normally, others have delays. Fingers crossed for anyone else dealing with this!

Thanks everyone for all the helpful advice! I managed to get through to NYSDOL this morning (used that Claimyr service someone mentioned - totally worth it). The agent confirmed I don't have enough wages in my base period for regular UI. She suggested applying for Safety Net Assistance through the NY Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance instead. Starting the application today and also applying for some quick gig work to bring in something while I job hunt. Will update if I run into more issues with the application!

Good luck! Glad you got through to someone finally!

Glad the service helped you! The Safety Net program can be a good option - just be prepared that the application process can take a few weeks too.

Update: The NYSDOL just posted on their Twitter account that the system should be fully operational again by 8pm tonight. They're extending the certification window by 24 hours for anyone affected by today's outage.

GUYS IT'S WORKING NOW!! I just got through on the phone system and was able to certify. My PIN worked fine this time. For anyone still having issues, keep trying - seems like they're slowly bringing everything back online!

Great to hear! For anyone else reading this thread later, this is a good reminder to always try certifying early in your certification window rather than waiting until the last day. System outages like this happen frequently enough that it's good to give yourself some buffer time.

Really? That's good to know. I've only been trying on evenings and weekends because I work during the day. Maybe that's part of my problem! Did you use a computer or phone when it finally worked?

UPDATE: I finally got it to work! For anyone else struggling, here's what worked for me: 1. I completed the ID.me verification separately first 2. Waited 48 hours as suggested 3. Logged in using Chrome incognito mode 4. The "File A New Claim" option appeared this time! Thanks everyone for your help. The verification loop was incredibly frustrating, but persistence paid off. Now I just have to wait and see if my claim gets approved.

Great news! Glad it worked out for you. Make sure to certify weekly on time once your claim is approved - the system is much more strict about that in 2025.
