If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

make sure ur tax guy didnt send it to the wrong department. happened to my brother and they never forwarded it to the right place, he had to start over

UPDATE: I finally got through to someone! Turns out my tax guy sent it to the general tax department email instead of uploading it through the unemployment portal. The agent was able to look it up and confirm they never received anything from him. I'm uploading my tax documents myself right now. Thanks everyone for your help!

Glad you got it sorted out! This is unfortunately common - many tax preparers aren't familiar with the specific requirements for unemployment documentation. Always good to follow up and verify yourself. Hope your claim processes quickly now!

SEE!! Exactly what happened to me! Never trust anyone else to handle this stuff correctly. At least now you know and can fix it!

I had the exact same question last week! I got an "extra" $300 payment too and was confused. I spent hours trying to reach someone at NYSDOL by calling the regular number but couldn't get through. Eventually I used Claimyr (claimyr.com) which helped me get past the phone system and connect with an agent within about 25 minutes. They showed exactly how it works in this video: https://youtu.be/Rdqa1gKtxuE The agent confirmed that March 27 is indeed the cutoff date, so any week ending on or before that date qualifies for the supplement. Since I certified on Sunday for the week ending March 22, I got the $300. Next week will be the first one without it. Might be worth calling to confirm your specific situation if you're still confused - their online info isn't always clear.

i dont trust these servicse that say they can get u thru to unemployment faster sounds like a scam to me

I was skeptical too but it's legit - it's just a system that navigates the phone tree and waits on hold for you. Saved me a ton of time and frustration. Before that I tried calling directly for 3 days with no luck.

Thanks everyone for all the helpful responses! So it sounds like since I certified for the week ending March 22, I was still eligible for the $300, and next week will be the first one without it. Really appreciate all the clarification - the DOL communications can be so confusing sometimes!

You're welcome! And yes, that's exactly right. You'll see the difference in your payment amount after your next certification. It might be a good time to review your budget and adjust for the reduced income.

i had this SAME EXACT PROBLEM and it took me 3 weeks to get fixed!!!! the new yorK unemployment system is such a disaster. glad you got through faster than i did!

One more update: I got my back payments today! They came through as a lump sum for the two weeks I missed. If anyone else is dealing with this issue, don't lose hope. Keep trying to reach someone who can help, and definitely be specific about the "effective date showing as 0" and "data migration error" - those were the keywords that helped the rep immediately understand my problem.

This is why I love this forum - real solutions from real people. Thanks for coming back to share what worked. Too often people get help and disappear without telling others how they resolved their issue.

That's awesome news!! So glad you got it fixed. But seriously, they need to fix their garbage system. Nobody should have to jump through all these hoops just to get benefits they're entitled to!!

Great news! For anyone else reading this thread with similar issues - notice how effective it was to specifically request a Tier 2 specialist who has database restoration permissions. Regular representatives often don't have the system access needed to fix these kinds of technical glitches. Always be polite but persistent about speaking with someone with higher-level system access.

UPDATE: My payment finally hit my KeyBank card! Showed up at 5:22pm. Thanks everyone for your help and suggestions. Seems like there were just delays in the system today.

Glad to hear it came through! This is a good reminder for everyone to plan for potential delays - always good to have at least a small emergency buffer when possible.

just got mine too FINALLY!! but seriously they need to fix this system!!

For future reference, if anyone is experiencing delays with their KeyBank card deposits, here are some steps you can take: 1. Check your payment history on the NY unemployment website to confirm the payment was processed 2. Use both the app AND website to check for pending deposits (sometimes they show different information) 3. Call the automated payment line at 888-581-5812 to verify payment status 4. If you need to speak with an agent urgently, consider using Claimyr.com to get connected faster 5. Wait until end of business day before panicking - same-day delays are common The NY unemployment system processes thousands of payments daily, and occasional delays do happen. As long as your certification was approved and payment shows as processed, the money will arrive.

This is super helpful, saving this for future reference. Thanks!
