EBT benefits not working - can't access funds or reach anyone. Help!
Anyone else having trouble accessing their EBT benefits? I've been dealing with the same issues for weeks now and I'm at my wits end. Can't seem to get through to anyone on the phone either. Any advice would be appreciated!

Ugh, I feel you. Been there, done that. The whole system is a mess rn. Have you tried going to the local office in person? Sometimes that's the only way to get anything done.

ā¢I haven't tried that yet. How long did you have to wait when you went?

ā¢Honestly, it took most of the day. Bring a book and snacks lol. But at least I got to talk to a real person š¤·āāļø

ā¢This. In-person is the way to go. Just be prepared for a loooong wait. š“

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/4RyuKFckT6k

ā¢Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

ā¢20 bucks? That's steep for something that should be free. š

ā¢I get the skepticism, but it saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo.

ā¢How long did you have to wait once they called you back?

ā¢Only about 5 minutes. Way better than being on hold for hours!

Have you checked your balance online? Sometimes the system glitches and shows zero even when there's money on the card. Happened to me last month and I freaked out for nothing š¤¦āāļø

Pro tip: call right when they open. I always have better luck getting through early in the morning. Also, try different days of the week. Mondays and Fridays tend to be the busiest.

Here's what I've learned after dealing with EBT issues for years: ⢠Always keep your paperwork organized and up to date ⢠Document every interaction (date, time, who you spoke to) ⢠Be persistent but polite ⢠If possible, use the online portal to submit documents ⢠Check for any policy changes that might affect your benefits ⢠Consider reaching out to your local representative if you're getting nowhere It's a frustrating system, but hang in there. Don't give up!

Anyone else notice how the EBT system always seems to have issues right when you need it most? š It's like they time it or smthn

Have you tried reaching out on social media? Sometimes tweeting at the official EBT account can get their attention faster than calling.
