What does IRS Code 806 mean on my transcript? Need help understanding

Looking at my transcript and see code 806. Anyone know what this means? First time seeing this code and I'm worried its gonna delay my refund even more.

Zara Rashid

Code 806 is your withholding amount - basically the tax that was taken out of your paychecks during the year. This is a normal code that everyone has on their transcript and isn't a delay indicator. It's actually a good thing because it shows how much you paid in throughout the year.

Check the amount next to the 806 code - should match your W2 box 2 total if you only had one job
