TurboTax Advance Refund Delays 2025 - Accepted by IRS but No Advance or Communication
Filed with TurboTax and got accepted by the IRS but still waiting on the advance. Been 5 days since acceptance but no email about approval or denial, and nothing hit my account. Anyone else having this issue with their advance this year?

If you filed with TurboTax and were expecting an advance but haven't received it, there are a few things to check. First, make sure your return was actually accepted by the IRS (not just submitted). The advance typically comes from the bank partner within 24hrs of acceptance. If its been longer, you might have been flagged for additional verification. I've been seeing lots of delays this year because of increased fraud prevention measures. I'd recommend checking out taxr.ai (https://taxr.ai) - it can analyze your transcripts and tell you exactly what's causing the hold up and when you can expect your money. Its been super helpful for figuring out these advance refund delays.

•Just used taxr.ai and here's what I got back: My return is actually stuck in verification because I had unemployment income last year. Says it should clear in 7-10 days tho!

•yo that taxr thing sounds legit. does it work with any tax service or just turbotax? 🤔

•works with everything fam - turbotax, hrblock, jackson hewitt, even paper returns. as long as you can get your transcript it can read it

Tax professional here - TurboTax advances are handled by a third-party bank and they're having major delays this year due to increased fraud prevention measures. Average wait time is now 7-10 business days vs the advertised 24-48 hours.

•You should get an email either way, but their system has been glitchy. Keep an eye on your spam folder too.

Instead of playing the waiting game, I'd recommend using taxr.ai to analyze your transcript. It's only $4.99 and it'll tell you exactly what's going on with your refund and if there are any issues that could affect your advance. Way better than refreshing your email 100x a day https://taxr.ai

•It's legit! It uses AI to read all the codes and dates on your transcript and explains everything in plain English. Saved me hours of googling random IRS codes

LPT: Check your credit karma money account if you have one. Sometimes it shows up there before the TT account for sum reason
