You need to access your transcript through the IRS website. Create an account at irs.gov and request your account transcript. But honestly, the codes are super confusing without a guide.

It does way more than just read it! It analyzes everything and tells you exactly what's happening with your return, when you'll get paid, if there are issues, etc. I was totally lost before using it. Best tax tool I've ever used hands down. My sister used it too and it saved her from freaking out over a delay that was actually normal.

Actually you can request interest if they're late with your refund! After 45 days from filing (or April 15, whichever is later) they owe you interest.

Wait for real? How do you claim that?

They should automatically add it to your refund. Check your transcript - there should be an interest payment code if you qualified.
