DDD 3/15 refund finally hit my account today - see you next filing season!

Yeah my bank usually posts deposits a day early but this time it was right on the DDD date. The waiting was killing me!

Mine always hits 2 days early with my credit union. They process ACH faster than traditional banks in my experience.

Yeah they're "free" if you have 4 hours to waste dialing and redialing and getting hung up on repeatedly. I tried for 2 weeks to get through on my own. This got me an actual agent in one try. My refund was released 3 days after I talked to someone. Do the math on what your time is worth.

We have almost the same timeline! Filed Feb 2, accepted same day, DDD 3/15, and money arrived this morning too! Chase bank here.

Y'all are making me jealous lol. Filed Jan 29, still stuck on "processing" with no DDD. This sucks.

Don't lose hope! Mine was stuck on processing for over a month then suddenly updated. The bar had disappeared on WMR and everything. Then boom - progress!

Code 570 is a refund hold. Usually followed by a 971 notice issued code if they're sending you a letter. Check your transcript again - you might need to verify identity or provide additional documentation.

Definitely call. A 570 without a 971 within a week usually means something's stuck. Could be a simple fix but someone needs to look at your account.

They're still using COBOL programming language from the 1960s for their main systems! My dad used to program in that before I was even born lol. They've been promising to upgrade for decades.

I heard they tried to update their systems a few years ago and it was such a disaster they had to go back to the old ones. Can't even modernize properly 😂

Direct Deposit Date - it's when the IRS schedules your refund to hit your bank account.

Other common ones: WMR = Where's My Refund, WMAR = Where's My Amended Return, TC = Transaction Code (like the 846 for refund issued), PATH = some law that delays certain credits until mid-February

Same exact situation! Filed Feb 12, accepted that day, and still nothing on transcripts. Just N/A across the board. This is ridiculous.

The IRS never issues DDDs on weekends. Must be a typo - double check your transcript. The 846 code date should only be weekdays.

570 is a hold on your account and 971 means they sent you a notice. Check your mail carefully - you probably need to verify something or they found a math error. Don't ignore the letter or you'll be waiting forever.

Usually about 5-7 days after the 971 date. If it's been longer, call them - the letter might have gotten lost. If you can't get through, try early morning (7am EST) or use Claimyr.com - that's how I finally reached someone.

Facts. Chase held mine for 3 days last year. When I called, they denied having it despite the IRS saying it was delivered. Then magically on day 3 it appeared.

It's the worst! Last year mine never updated at all. Just went from "Return Received" straight to the money being in my account. Never hit the approved or sent stages.

WMR is a joke. I check my transcript instead - at least it shows actual codes and dates.
